Franco Acerbis fonda ACERBIS ITALIA.
Viene prodotto il primo accessorio in termoplastica a marchio ACERBIS.
Inizia la produzione di abbiagliamento tecnico e di accessori a marchio proprio.
ACERBIS si dedica allo studio e alla produzione di abbigliamento tecnico sportivo.
Viene pubblicato il primo catalogo dedicato alle protezioni ed all'abbigliamento da portiere.
Nasce la divisione ACERBIS Football.
Elche C.F. è il primo team professionistico sponsorizzato da ACERBIS ad accedere alla massima serie categoria spagnola: "La Liga".

La collezione ACERBIS Sport si allarga includendo per la prima volta prodotti specifici per il BASKETBALL e per il RUGBY.
ACERBIS presenta la nuova collezione di prodotti dedicata al mondo VOLLEYBALL.

ACERBIS raggiunge la Serie A, la massima serie del Campionato Italiano di calcio, con Spezia Calcio. ACERBIS entra nel volley maschile professionistico vestendo il team Agnelli Tipiesse. ACERBIS è fornitore ufficiale del Giro d'Italia. ACERBIS veste il team professionistico di ciclismo Gazprom Rusvelo. ACERBIS raggiunge la Top10, la massima serie del Campionato Italiano di rugby, con Rugby Viadana 1970. ACERBIS è sponsor tecnico della Nazionale Solidale Italiana che partecipa alla Homeless World Cup.
